Hey guys!!

Today I’ll be sharing my favourite lip balms with you (and one that I really hated!!)

First up is Vaseline. All of the vaseline lip products are great but my favourite is the rosy lips one. It has a slight pink tint so it looks really pretty and moisturises really well. It also smells really nice but if you don’t like rose scents it isn’t for you!! This is my everyday, go-to lip balm. The only downside is the fact that it comes in a big tin. You get your fingers messy and it can be hard to find room for it if you have a small bag!

Next up is Labello. Cherry Kiss is the only one I’ve tried but I’ve loved it for years. It has a dark pink tint so it’s like a low fuss lipstick. The smell is amasing but again, if you don’t like cherry… I really like the stick format and it glides on really well. It’s also ridiculously cheap!

Next is MAC Tendertones. I did a review previously on these (at least I think i did!!) They are only available in some of the summer collections so they can be hard to get. They also cost quite a lot. They are really smooth and the colours are very pretty but sheer. Nice for everyday wear.

Next up is Carmex. I bought this when I had really dry chapped lips. It’s not hugely expensive and it is really effective. I usually use this at night as the formula is quite waxy feeling. I’ve only tried the original flavour. It has a hint of menthol so it feels quite cooling when you apply it. The smell is really sweet but has no specific scent. Definitely good for a chapped lip emergency.

Lastly we come to the Korres Mandarin Lip Butter Stick. I absolutely hated this!! I could taste the chemicals in it (yuck), the colour stuck to my chapped lips and emphasised them and it wasn’t moisturising at all. I had to apply it every 10 mins for my lips to be relieved. I was really disappointed as I had heard a lot of good things about this company and I was expecting a great product. I just could not recommend these to anybody!!! The colour selection was ok but they were a little pricy.

These are my favourite (and least favourite) lip balms. Let me know what your favourites are as I’m always looking for new ones!!!!

Talk to you again soon!!!

Hey guys!!! I’m finally back. Life got in the way for quite a while!!! I had to study to get back into college (which I succeeded in), then I had so much college work to do that I had very little time to do anything. Plus I got a boyfriend and he takes up a lot of my time. Anyway, I have a little break before I go on work experience so I have time to do some more blogging and hopefully vlogging!

On to the review!!!

This is the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief gel cream. It can be used as a moisturiser or as a face mask.

Texture: Thick gel formula

Smell: Unscented but has a light natural fragrance that is barely noticable

Price: Very expensive – currently €43.50 in Debenhams for 50ml.

Skin type: Any

My Opinion It works really well. When I first put it on my skin didn’t feel moisturised at all (it actually felt a little dry) but after about half an hour my skin was soft, smooth and felt really fresh. It took a few minutes to absorb so it shouldn’t be used if you’re in a hurry. I used it after a clay mask so my skin was rather dry when I applied it. I didn’t wash my face before bed and my skin still felt moisturised the following morning (and I had slept for about 10 hours so it was quite a while). Definitely long lasting. I would also like to add that I normally have an oily T-zone and even the next morning my skin was still matt! Also you only need a really small amount to cover the entire face so the tub should last quite a long time. It didn’t cause me any breakouts and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

Recommended: Definitely if you can afford it. (I got it as a trial size when I bought a few other things from the company)

Final Thoughts: It’s not a product I would use on an everyday basis purely because it is so expensive. I would use this weekly as a moisture boost after a long week or a night out and your skin needs a pick me up. My skin looked and felt really healthy after using it. A really nice treat for your skin!!

Alternative Products: The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask – costs about €17. Not quite as good but a good alternative for a significantly cheaper price.

So I just filmed part of a face mask tutorial video and I thought I’d share a little picture with you!!

In case anyone is wondering I’m using the MyBeautyDiary sheet mask in Apple Polyphenol. I bought them on!!!

On a side note, I’m really loving Bigbang’s new song Fantastic Baby. Also loving Ed Sheeran!!!

Hey guys!!

So I went shopping today an picked up some great stuff!!!

I love It’s Raining Men!!! It’s really moisturising and smells great!!! I got the biggest sized bottle cause I love it so much and I’ll definately use it all!! Plus it was the best value!!

I got this facial cleanser as a sample! (I love LUSH, they always give samples!!) It is Coalface which is for oily or acne-prone skin. My skin is normally a bit dry but I do get acne so it will be nice to have when I get a breakout!!

I also got these free!! There was 5 but I shared them with my sister! They are the Breath of God Toothy Tabs ie. solid toothpaste. I’m a bit apprehensive of trying these since they are Myrrh, Sandalwood and vanilla flavoured!!

I also went to MAC and picked up a few of their new collection products!! I got 2 from the Cook MAC collection and 2 from the Chenman collection!

I got 2 tendertones!! I was really excited to get these since they were discontinued when I first heard they exsisted!!! When I heard they were coming back (courtesy of makeupbyTiffanyD) I knew I had to get them!!

I got the shades Hot ‘N’ Saucy (left) and Hush, Hush (right). Hot n Saucy is a really nice red with no shimmer. Hush is a shimmery bronze colour (sounds weird but looks great!).

I got this mineralise eyeshadow duoin the shade Pink Union. This is really gorgeous! It has a dark purple and a lighter shimmery pinky purple! The shimmery part is kinda divided into two parts too! The bottom part is darker and has bigger glitters!

This lip gloss is really pretty!! The picture isn’t very accurate though! It’s a much brighter pink with a coral tone to it! It has teeny tiny glitters in it too. They’re so small you wouldn’t notice them unless you looked really close. Perfect for people who don’t like glittery glosses!

Ok so that’s all I got!! I can’t wait to try them all out and I’ll try to post some reviews when I can!!!

Talk to you all soon!!! 😀

Ok so Halloween is over (so is my birthday) and Christmas is just around the corner!!! Halloween was really great and I’ll try to post some photos soon!!

All that aside, I went into MAC cause I hadn’t been in in a while and I knew there would be some collection stuff out that I hadn’t seen. So I go in, and there are like three girls right in the entrance setting up new collection stuff and one of the ladies says that the Christmas stuff is out on Thursday!!! I missed out on the stuff last year because it was mostly sold out when I got there mid-December. I didn’t realise it came out so early!!! I’m super excited!!!!! It looks really pretty from what I saw!!!! I’m going to try to go back next week cause I’m going home tomorrow for work and I want to be able to see all the stuff and at least have the option of buying some of the stuff!!!

Soooooo, in conclusion, I’m super excited!!!!!!

Ok so I really love LUSH products but I hadn’t been using them lately! Then I started using some of the things I got around Christmas last year and I’m really loving them!!

First is Glogg which is a really nice shower gel! It smells like mulled wine and is really nice to use on cold wet days (which we’ve been having a lot of!!).

Next is Once a Year massage bar!! This is one of my favourite massage bars (which is why I bought a few of them!!) It has 2 parts to it :

1. The pink part. This part is really sweet smelling with a little bit of spicyness!!

2. The cream part. This part is a bit like vanilla and is full of sparkles for a little bit of festive cheer!!

I’m really loving this early intro to Christmas and now I’m really excited to see this years LUSH christmas stock!!
